Have Jeremiah B. Dutcher, born about 1816, married Elizabeth (Clark) McCumber (~1810-1904), apparently a widow of a deceased McCumber. By Elizabeth's first marriage, she had children: Edmond K. McCumber (1834- ), Benjamin W. McCumber (1835- ), and Sarah Eliza McCumber (1842- ). All of these children were born in New York. Elizabeth and Jeremiah Dutcher had children: William Peter Dutcher (1844-1921), Emeline Dutcher (1849- ), and Malicia Dutcher (1852- ). In 1850 they were living in Pleasant Valley, Marquette Cty, Wisc. In 1860, Elizabeth, Edmond, Benjamin, William, Emeline, and Malicia were living in Winona Cty, Minn; apparently Jeremiah had died? My search is for the unkown McCumber that was the first husband of Elizabeth, and that perhaps chasing down Jeremiah would lead to where he came from. Any help appreciated.
