Yes,I believe we both are decendants of Mark Durk. Normand Durk my Grandfather settled in Bladworth Saskatchwan Canada.All of my family live in Ontario,Canada. You can reach me at rdurk1119@rogers.com if you would like further info.

My father Royston and his brother Jim (or Dar) were both sons of Nellie Durk--as far as we know she never married, though we believe they had the same father. Uncle Jim told me that Nellie had two brothers, Norman and Clifford, and that Norman emigrated to Canada, but he wasn't sure where. Somewhere in Ontario? Although my memory keeps whispering Saskatchewan. Their father's name was Mark Durk (wife Rosina). Mark Durk was from Charterhouse, and they lived in Rodney Stoke. I think we must both be descendants of that Mark Durk.

Kathy Day of Australia (who replied earlier in this thread) is a grand-daughter of Clifford Durk (William Dudley Clifford Durk). She and my brother Mark Durk exchanged some emails. I think she said that Clifford had five children, one emigrated to Australia and one to Canada

My Great Grandfather was Mark Durk of Somerset England.He had three children,Normand,Clifford,and Nellie. Not sure where your father Royston fits in ? My Grandfather,Normand Durk immigrated to Canada at age 18,married and had two sons,Clifford and Kenneth.Clifford Durk is my father. I'd like to know whaqt became of Clifford Dudley Durk,Mark's younger son?It looks like he was still in England at 56 years of age in 1943.

Delphos, Ohio for $2.50.

Along with these photos were other photos that appear to have come from the same photo album. The last names are: Wilson, Stiverson, Roush, LaGoque, Collins, White, Osenga, Ogelsbee, Schindler, Borts and Fox.

Would like family members to have these photos. All that I am asking is reimbursement of my purchase price and postage.
