I am looking for the parents of my grgrgrandfather Jacob Durfey, born in Upper Canada (Ontario) in 1823/24 and married Sarah Smith in Ontario in 1847. They later moved to Huron Co. Michigan. Jacob Durfy died March 16, 1887: 64 years; cause paralysis. Birthplace unknown; labourer; parents unknown; died in Verona. From Badaxe County Courthouse records.
