Michel Duquette's parents were Paul Duquette and Marie-Josephte Léveillé (married in 1820 in Verchères).

Paul's parents were Pierre Duquette dit Sansregret and Catherine Dèshègles (Daigle) dit Janot (married mai 13, 1793 in St-Cuthbert).

Pierre's parents were Pierre Duthier dit Sansregret and Marie-Marguerite Boisselle (married January 11, 1767 in Verchères). Pierre Duthier came to New France as a soldier of the Régiment de Guyenne.
