Champlain — Clifford Duquette, 81, died Aug. 6, 2000, at Largo Medical Center in Largo, Fla. He had been under hospice care.
He was born April 24, 1919, in Champlain.
He was an industrial engineering analyst for Harris Corporation in Champlain. He served in the Navy during World War II, was a third degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a long time member of the American Legion Post 767 of Champlain.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Agnes; a son, Gregory and daughter-in-law Sandy of West Chazy; a daughter, Candace; and daughter-in-law, Mary of Rotterdam. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Michelle Duquette of Cordova, Tenn., Heather Duquette of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Natasha Cucinella of Auton, Mass.; and a great-grandchild, Isabelle Cucinella.
There will be a memorial Mass on Saturday, Aug. 19, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Champlain. A reception will follow at the Knights of Columbus in Champlain.
