My GGrandfather is named Joseph originally from somewhere in Canada ( Drummondville area of Quebec possibly. He died homesteading in Saskatuan Canada. We have a picture of his farm house. He lived in Holyoke MA and was a funeral director type. He drove a hack and I have a picture of it. He lived on High street 1888 according to a database entry in the Holyoke transcript database. My great grandmother was Hermoine Dupont, married to Joseph (Narcisse) Smith in Holyoke, Mass., probably in the mid 1800's.
They had several children, and to the best of my knowledge lived there all their lives.

My great great grandfather was Dolphus Dupont who married Julie Paridis in 1857, in Canada. Their daughter Hermine Dupont married Joseph (Narcisse) Smith in 1871 in Quebec. They had several children including Anna Caroline, who married Frank A. Lamothe in Holyoke, in the early 1900's. Anna is my grandmother.
If you have any information, I would love to hear from you again. I have almost no information on the Duponts except for the names. Joseph Smith disappeared and I think he died in Canada, and she came back here to be with family.
