I'm interested in knowing Jessie's parents name. My Grandmother was Gertrude Dupont Ponthieux. She married Shelby Ponthieux.My great-grandmother was Pauline Dupont. I don't know her husbands name or her parents or maiden name. We are from Louisana. My father was born in Marksville, La. He says that is where his people are from. But originally from France. Margaret Sambola asked about Pauline DUPONT. I am related to a Pauline KELONE DUPONT d/o Thomas KELONE/Elizabeth GUILLORY, b. 26 Oct 1866 in Echo, La. She was married to a Jefferson James DUPONT b. Feb 1866 in Echo. His parents were Merille DUPONT/Oprezia CARMOUCHE. "Girtie" was one of nine (9) children born to them.

My father, Rufus DUPONT s/o Clovise DUPONT/Florentina GOUDEAU was born in Echo also.
