Hi Jerry,
I know who your Fanny was. You may already have her, but I'll note what I have. Fanny was the daughter of Asa and Kate Unknown. She had two siblings, Peter and Laura. There may be more but I haven't worked on this line much. Asa's Parents were Joseph (Jan. 30, 1800) Westmoreland Co., PA, and Catherine Frey(betw1800-1820) prob in Unity Twp., Westmoreland Co., PA. Joseph died in 1886 in Hempfield Twp., Westm. Co., PA; . They had four sons- Levi, Simon, Asa, and Joseph Franklin Klingensmith. Catherine's parents were Michael and Anna Frey. Her siblings were Anna and Christina. Joseph married twice. His prob. second wife was Hester Saurwine. They had probably only one child, a girl named Anna,

Joseph's father was John Jacob Klingensmith born in Northampton Co., PA in 1757. His second wife was in your line; Elizabeth Gongaware. Joseph had probably two siblings, Sarah and Catherine. Catherine was born in State of Indiana, the other two prob in PA. J. Jacob's first wife was Anna Margaretta Klingensmith, daughter of "Blockhouse" John Peter. J. Jacob was the third child of four in that union. There was a girl, Anna Christian (named after a male relative, Christian Cassel, born June 23, 1753 in Montgomery Co., PA, and died September 1800 prob in Westm. Co. Then Andrew, born Dec 18, 1754 in Northampton (Later called Lehigh Co.). Their last child was Mary Catherine, born in Nov 1758, and the mother died. She was baptized on Jan 1, 1759 to her new mother, Christina Walthour Klingenmith and new wife to her father, John "Blockhouse" Phillip Klingensmith (born1732 in Susquehanna area, later Adams Co., PA. Phillip had a total of 13 children. His parents were George (July 16, 1701) Philadelphia Co. and Anna Steltzmeier/Stadelman (1703 or 1705)Germany. His father was Joseph, Jr. who arrived in Mobjac Bay, VA on Oct. 24, 1700 and went north to Philadelphia.

There is much more if you are interested. I work with the Klingensmith family in Westmoreland County where I was brought up, and was basically assigned my John "Hans" line but got carried away and now work on all the early Klingensmiths. (While I'm bumbling on, I want to remind all Klingensmiths that the Reunion, as always, is the third Saturday in July at the pavillion at the Bushy Run Battlefield in Westmoreland Co., PA at about 11:30.(covered dish) I'm looking forward to meeting everyone I can and finding out their connection. This goes for Klinesmits, and Klinedinst, etc. also. P.S. This year we are celebrating the amazing find of a 1545 Luther Bible that turned up in your Jacob's line. (See E- TRIB, Greensburg, Jan 2014, Klingensmith Luther Bible), Bye for now, GGGG granddaughter of Blockhouse Phillip, Karen D.
