One of my ancestors, James Rufus Dunn, born in Lyon County, KY 1858, had a son named Eura/Ura Dunn. The father of James Rufus Dunn was Francis M Dunn and the mother was Susan Elizabeth Dunn. Someone has suggested to me that Susan was the daughter of Simon Dunn and Mary Dobbins and that Simon was Johnson W Dunn's brother. Not sure about those two things but plan to check them out.

James Dunn's son, Eura, is mentioned as living in Eupora, MS in the 1943 obituary for his father who died in New Madrid County, MO.

I have no idea when Eura/Ura was born but his siblings for whom I have birth
dates and places were born between 1879 and 1895 and all in Princeton,
Caldwell County, KY.

I suspect that Ura/Eura is a middle name or possibly a nickname but can't be
sure of that.

A distant family member told me that Eura had three daughters but I can't
verify that, either.
