I haven't been to the cemetery in Beulah yet, but I have relatives buried there also. I was in Licking last summer to visit an aunt who still lives there.<br><br>My grandparents Fountain William Carney and Dollie Dunham Carney bought a white stucco house on Main Street in Licking right across from the Baptist Church in 1943 or so. It used to be the Methodist parsonage many years ago. Fount died in 1943. Dollie lived there until 1991.<br><br> My other grandparents were Irvin and Juanita Mitchell. They had a farm out on the highway to Rolla just outside of town, and in 1957 moved to town. They had the rock house behind the REA until 1970. Then they built a red brick house on the road to Raymondville just inside the city limits I think. Irvin was a rural mail carrier for 50 years. Another interesting fact- his mother was Cora MARR 1881-1945. Her father was Evan MARR 1855-1927 who is buried at Beulah!!! Can you tell me which Marr your first wife was related to? Spencer &amp; Eli's Mother was Mrs. Caroline Dunham, she married John Warfield on 1 Oct 1842 in Hopewell, Ontario, New York. <br><br>John was previously married in New York and his wife first wife Caroline died on 23 Jan 1831. He had three children from his first marriage. Caroline Dunham Warfield had 2 children that I know of. The combined Warfield-Dunham families moved to Mukwanago, Waukesha County, WI. In Wisconsin this family added 3 more children to the family, with the first born in Wisconsin in Feb 1847. <br><br>Spencer and Eli Dunham are living in the Warfield household in the 1850 census in Mukwanago. Spencer was born Jan 1834 in New York. Eli was born 1837 in New York. <br><br>In 1861 Spencer was living in Pierce, Kewaunee, WI; was married to Sarah Jane Unknown and had twin daughters born 4 May 1861. His wife Sarah Jane died on 16 July 1861 in Pierce. His twin daughters followed in Oct &amp; Dec 1861. He remarried in 1861 Almira Reynolds and had 5 children with her. They settled in Humboldt Brown WI and can be found there in the 1870 census. Eli Dunham in that census was living right next door.<br><br>Eli Dunham married Mary unknown in Manitowoc County, WI on 18 Aug 1867. They had 2 children that I could find. Eli disappears after 1870 and I could find no trace of him. I did however find his daughter Daisy Dunham living with Spencer Dunham and daughter Jenny Dunham in the 1900 census in Humboldt, Brown, WI. <br><br>In 1870 Cato, Manitowoc census your Alanson Hickok was in household 168. My John &amp; Caroline Dunham Warfield were in household 170. In household #177 is Luther &amp; Mary Warfield Wicker, John Warfield's daughter. Sarah Dunham in Alanson's household was born 3 years earlier than my Caroline Dunham Warfield. I know that your Alanson Dunham and his parents William and Sarah Metcaff Dunham lived in New York in 1850 census in Monroe County. Caroline Dunham Warfield came from Ontario County right next door. <br><br>Is it possible that your Sarah Metcaff Dunham and my Caroline Dunham Warfield both married Dunham's from the same family in New York? I just find it too coincidental that Lindsey, Spencer and Eli Dunham were all in Manitowoc County in the 1850's, That John &amp; Caroline Dunham Warfield moved right next door to Sarah Metcaff Dunham leaving John's Warfield brother's in Mukwanago. <br><br>Further coincidence occurs in the Cato, Manitowoc 1860 census. Your William &amp; Sarah Metcaff Dunham are listed in household 836. In household 838 Luther &amp; Mary Warfield Wicker. Mary is the oldest daughter of John Warfield. Alanson Hickok is in household 832. <br><br>Another coincidence is that in Mill Center Protestant Methodist Cemetery your Lindsey W. Dunham is buried in Old section NE-7. My Edna Warfield Branch Davis, another of John Warfield's daughters is buried in Old section NE-6.<br>Since Lindsey died in Oconto County I find it very interesting that he and family are buried so near another member of my Warfield/Dunham family in another county. <br><br>There are just too many coincidences of Lindsey and Sarah Metcaff Dunham and my Dunham Warfield's being so close to each other so often. There has to be a major connection that neither of us has made yet. Perhaps it goes back to New York. I have never been able to find Caroline Dunham's first husbands name.
