Looking for anyone with ties to Christian Dull b 1712 - d 1758 and Maria Catherine Dromm. Their children were:

Casper Dull (b 5/1735 Germany - died young)
Catherine Dull (b 1736 Germany: married Frederick Hesser)
Leonard Dull (b PA: married to Margaret Stolz)
Christian Dull (b 1742: married to Elizabeth Detor)
Casper Dull (b 1748: married to Hannah Matieu/Matthews - have good data on these two)
John Dull (born in PA)
Abraham Dull (born in PA)
Elizabeth Dull (born in PA)

Main concern is parents of Jacob Dull (b 1781) and Hannah Dull (b 1786/1787) both supposedly in Montgomery County, PA.

Anyone else that has connections to the names listed above, I will be more than happy to share and dissect additional data.

I am descended from Casper Van Zandt, son of Isaiah Van Zandt, son of George Van Zandt. Casper's father, Isaiah and Mother, Mary Dull (daughter of Casper Dull, Sr. and hannah) died in 1833 both about 24 years old. Casper Van Zandt was then raised by his maternal uncle, Casper Dull, Jr. and wife Mary Junkin. At age 21, Casper Van Znadt moved to Ohio, married Elizabeth Kelley, then on to Indiana for the rest of his life.

Jacob Dull and Mary ?? had 4 small daughtered baptist 1827. Amanda Dull one of these children was my great great grandmother.

The father of Mrs. Elizabeth Dull Boyer was a son of Christian Dull who was a soldier in the Rev. War, and was killed at the battle of Germantown. Mr. Dull (Christian`s son) resided near Mount Clare where he owned and managed a farm with scientific principles. He married Elizabeth Essick (b. abt. 1772) and had the following children- Mary. Margaret, Catharine, Elizabeth, Sarah, Hannah, Theresa, and Charles
Mr. Dull`s first name is not mentioned and I suspect that he died before 1830. Elizabeth Essick Dull was last found in the 1850 census living with her daughter Theresa Dull Custer.
I think that Mr. Dull and Elizabeth Essick are also the parents of my ggggfather James Dull who moved to Louisiana by the 1830 census.
Christians father (I think) is Casper Dull b. 1716 who emmigrated from Germany with his brothers Christian and Sebastian in 1739

I have Christian Dull (b: 1742 married to Elizabeth Detor) I have their child Mary Dull born: 15 Feb 1786 married to Robert McMinn abt 1800 and married to John Andrew McMinn about 1810 and their child being born 1812 named John Andrew McMinn who is my great great grandfather. I would like the children of Mary Dull and Robert McMinn. My ancestor, Christian Dull was Mary`s brother.

The children of Robert McMinn b: abt 1784 died before 1850 and Mary Dull b: 15 Feb 1786 died 12 July 1873 SLC, SL, Utah Bur: SLC Cemetery (info taken from Volume IV PAGE 90 SLC Cemetery Records. Mary Dull was the daughter of Chritian Dull and Elizabeth Dotterer (Detterer).

Both mother Mary Dull and child #8 Margaret Worrell McMinn were wives of heber C. Kimball. Mary Dull was sealed to Heber C. Kimball on 21 May 1848 at Winter Quarters, Douglas, NE. (Info from LDS Doc FDile #250) SLC Cemetery files. ( I received this info from S. Standing.
I also have a family group on Christian Dull b: 12 Aug 1742 Philadelphia, PA died: 6 May 1820 (age 78) Gwynedd, Twp., Montgomery Co.m Pa and Elizabeth Dotter or Detterer b: 12 Sept 1749 Frederick Twp., Montogmery, PA, died: 22 Nov 1823 (age 74) Gwenedd Twp., Montgomery, PA, buried: Germantown, Philadelphia, PA. and their children and spouses.
Mary Dull married John Andrew McMinn also.

Hans Peter DOLL b. 1641 m. Gertraut Reik b. 1642 and had Elisabetha B, Anna Catharina, Christoffel, Anna Elizabetha, Casper, Hans Peter, Anna Barbel, Philip, Anna Margretha, Johannes C, Johann Nickel, & Johann Peter.

Christoffel Dull b.1671 m. Sarah Margaret Schuch b.1686 and had Maria Margaretha, Anna Maria, Nicholas, Anna Caharina, Johann Peter, Casper, Maria Engel, Johamm Abraham, Johann Nickel, & Johann Christian. (Casper may also have had the first name of Johann, but I haven't found documentation of such)

Johann Christian Dull b.? m. Maria Catherine Dromm b.1716 and had the Christian b.1742 & Joseph.

Joseph Dull b.1750 m. Dorothea ? b.1765 and had the following children: Elizabeth, Daniel, John & Jacob.

Jacob Dull b.1789 m. Mary Ann Stuckey and had the following children (some of whom I was able to confirm through church baptism records): Wilamina, Adaline, Sarah A, Amanda, Abraham, Simon, Margaret, Daniel, Henrietta, Jacob, Joanna & Eleanora.

Abraham Dull (1831-1915) m. (1) Elizabeth Miller (1836-1866) & had the following children before dying at an early age: Rebecca, George H, Rachel. Abraham them later married Louisa E Terrill (1841-1897) with whom he had George, Hattie, Laura, Uda, Charles, Etta, Henry, Verona, Grace, William & Chloe Estella. Most of Abraham's children migrated to Oregon with him & many still live in the far western part of the US. After some digging we were able to locate Abraham's unmarked grave in Oregon.


Henry Austin Dull (1875-1935) m. Arminda L Larkins (1885-1948) & had the following children: Wayne, Orville, Jessie, Herald, Vernin, Pearl & Cecil.


Jessie Marie Dull m. Curtis Theodore Mann & had the following children: Wanda, Raymond, Darrell, Juanita & Myrtle

Yes, I have it that they had Wilamina, Adaline, Sarah & Amanda. Then in 1833 they had Abraham & supposedly others. I'd love to share information with you as I am a descendant of Abraham Dull, the sibling born right after Amanda. I suspect he migrated to furthest of all his siblings - moving from the east coast all the way across to the central plains of the US & then later on to Oregon. He died in 1915, his obituary making the front page of the newspaper in Oregon. Recently we were able to locate his unmarked grave.

Mary's full name was Mary (aka Marie) Ann Stuckey.

You can find records of Jacob's baptism, as well as that of his wife & daughters at North Wales, Montgomery, Pennsylvania at St. Peter's (Yellow) Church, 1787-1856 RECORDS. Abraham's along with a brother's can be found at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Somerset, PA. Their records are only a small number that survived the fires that destroyed most of the church records of that period.
