My great grandmother, Honora Duggan, was born in Newmarket Cork c. 1871, came to the US in the late 1880s and married Thomas Geary. They lived in Orange, Mass. with their 5 children born 1890-1906. (Thomas, Minnie Scully, (Timothy) Emmet, Kathleen McNamara, and Eileen Falcon. He died c. 1915. She moved to Chicago with various children in the 1920s.

I'm seeking info her relatives in Ireland. Her parents were Timothy Duggan and Mary Gainey or Geany. Sibling names include John, Julia and Catherine, all born in the 1860s in Newmarket or Boherbue. Some relatives sent their children to school in the US. Some would visit the islands off Georgia in the winter and visit my family in Florida -- my mother was Kathleen Scully Martin. One of the relatives with whom we corresponded was Betty O'Neill, who lived in Ahane Brosna at least in the 1960s.
