I'm looking for my ancestor Joseph D. Duffy born about 1826 in Pennsylvania. He died in Warrick County, Indiana and the 1880 census for that area shows him at age 54 with his birthplace Pennsylvania, his father from Scotland and his mother from Ireland. I don't have a clue where I should start looking in Pennsylvania for his birth certificate so I can locate his parents. I have no idea if he has any siblings. He married Rebecca Flack and they had 5 children including my father's grandfather. I know everything down to Joseph D. Duffy so any help after that would be greatly appreciated.
