Tina, I actually knew (and dated) Butch Duerson in the 60's in Daytona Beach, Fla. His mother Rowena was married to an Ash and lived in Daytona. Butch came from Ky and visited his mother at Christmas. I was from Illinois and my family came to Daytona at Christmas also - my mother knew Rowena and her husband from the 40's. Butch was a really sweet guy, football star in his high school. I also knew Joyce and Betty and visted with them many times.

I have just recently began investigation on the Clarke family of Spotsylvania and have ran across William and his wife Hanna Duerson. Would appreciate any information you might have.

I am attempting to find out something about any living relatives that I may have. I am the son of Alfred Duerson who died in Port Tobacco Maryland in the mid 80s. Other than that, I know of no other relatives. The names of grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. would be appreciated.

Regards your question about relatives of Vernon Duerson, sorry but I have no knowledge of that person. In fact, I know of no other relatives except my father Alfred. My parents divorced when I was 4 years old (1954) and I never learned anything of my fathers side of the family. All I know is that he worked in Washington D.C. and died at age 64 in Maryland. Wish I could be of more help. Rick
