There seem to have been two John's born to William and Ann Odell. The first one died young according to other researchers (although I can find no proof of a death). The second John I believe could be mine.
In 1841 John (b 1796) was in Ray Stret,Clerkenwell with wife Ann and children Louisa 19, William and Ellen. Thier other children had flown the nest. The babtism records for all 8 children show Ann and John in the Middlesex area. Other addresses given were 12 Castle Street, Westminster and Huggin Lane.
The 1851 census shows John as born 1797 Bedfordshire.
The 1861 shows him as born 1791 in Lidlington, Bedfordshire.

Other researchers have John as married to Susanna Cook (married 1815 Chalgrove). One has him married to a Sarah.
There are conflicting deaths given as 1851, 18 Jun 1847 Lidlington, and one as Coal in Oklahoma (no date). I tend to think he died in 1869 in Middlesex.
All of us are claiming our John to be the son of William and Ann Odell.

I would really appreciate some input from someone with a deeper knowledge pool than I have!
