Hi Jackie.
Have you found an Agnes Morrison DuBois, born about 1880 in your research? Do not know her father, but her mother's surname was Randolph. My hunch is that she may have been born in Virginia, Louisiana, Mississippi, or Texas. She married Benton Hugh Johnston about 1900, and they lived in Dallas during their marriage. She died in 1905.
Hope something rings a bell.

Hi Jackie. Thanks for reply. The DuBois line is hard to trace for some reason. Hope I find a clue somewhere. If I do, I'll post here and hope everyone else does the same.

Interested in George W. DuBois' (1859 - 1954) wife's family if anyone has info. Her name was Margaret L. Bartlett (1876-1934). Her parents were William Bartlett and Rebecca Johnson. Having a really difficult time with the Bartlett side. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,
Valerie

Hi Deborah, I was just going through some family history search and found your message. I see that you posted back in 2001, but I hope this message reaches you in regards to your "Query". Your dad would be my uncle as I am the son of Helen (DuBois) Mulstay. My mom is still living and Jean is still living too. Esther, Pearl, and John have since passed. In inquiring with my mom in regards to seeing your message, you have a brother Ken? Feel free to e-mail me at sm629bigbear@verizon.net for further info. Also, in doing some family searching too, I have discovered that the DuBois side of the family goes back to the "old" Fort DuBois in New Paltz, NY.
