I am a Drumright descendant through William Drumright Sr's daughter Frances P. Drumright. She married Joseph Arnold in Mecklenburg County in 1800. I am trying to determine the mother of Frances and the children born after 1782. Do you or does anyone else have proof of when Nancy Bowen Drumright died? I have an application pending with DAR and the proof that they have is the will of Hicks Bowen, brother of Nancy dated 1787. She was deceased by then. I believe that Nancy passed away before 1787 and more in the 1782-1783 range. William's second wife, Stacy Andrews, may have been the mother of five or six of William Sr's children. Would welcome any comments and help with any documentation you might have. I show William Sr. married to Stacy Andrews Drumright earliest 1791 but again think that they were married long before that.
