I hesitate to post this, but know if it were me looking, I'd want this information. I've been working on the assumption (and Alice Tracy Welch's book) that James Dromgoole was the father of Elizabeth Dromgoole who married Peter Isler (my GGGgrandparents), but there were too many inconsistencies. After digging deep the past few years, evidence seems to show that Elizabeth is quite possibly the daughter of Alexander Dromgoole and Elizabeth (first wife) when they were living in Frederick Co., VA. Digging further, I found a will for a Michael Drumgold (1767) that states that he had 3 sons, John, Alexander and James. This changes everything and I thought you Dromgoole researchers might want to know.
