I'm looking for a Thomas P. Jeffords that was born in NY. There is some conflicting information from the census records. I have his birth from his grave as July 1886, although two other censuses list 1888 and 1892.

I know he was in the army. He married Olive May Jeffords (maiden name) who had been married to a Frederick Schramm previously and had a daughter Cynthia with him. He passed away and she remarried. Thomas and Olive's children's names were: Jerry/ Jeremiah, John, Jimmy, Harold, Elinore, Emma and Olive.

I think I may have found Thomas's parents/ siblings on an 1880's census with the potential parents listed as Jeremiah (1842) and Ellen Driscoll (1847) (both born in Ireland). Their children are listed as: Cornelius, Margaret (married as Roberts), Mary, Ellen, William, and Elizabeth. Thomas was born later on.

But it's hard to narrow down which Ellen or Jeremiah they are. (Not sure how true to stay to the supposed birth years listed). I found individuals that may be the correct people but I'm not sure how to confirm or disprove that they are or aren't.
