I don't think there is any need to go as far away as Cuckney for the birth of Ann WILD. I don't know of any evidence of her birth in the locality but I have a Samuel WILDE m1 Mary MELLOR (1715 in Glossop) and m2 Grace ALLEN (after 1737). I don't know where Samuel was born but he lived in Combs.

It seems likely that Ann WILD was part of a family living in the Glossop/Hayfield/Chapel-en-le-Frith area in the 17th and 18th century.
