My ancestors during the 1800's were living in the Stanton-in-the-Peak and Rowsley areas of Derbyshire.

Would welcome contact from anyone researching this branch.

I am from Derbyshire Drabbles but from the Buxton area, I'm back to 1832 where I start off with Henry Drabble mrd to Sarah Anne (1851) from Manchester, they had seven children, Anne(1877) William(1878) Harry(1877) Mary A(1881)
Emily my Grandmother(1885) Harriet(1887) & John(1891.
If anyone can match any of them to their families I would look forward to hearing from you.

John Drabble (b1891) is my grandfather and I recognise the names of a couple of 'aunts'. My father was also John with a brother Deryck

Are you familiar with any of the Drabbles around Fulham, London in the 1920's? I was trying to find my mom's cousins (Jones/Beminster) and one of them married a Joseph Wm Drabble. Coincidentally, one of their daughters had a son named Kenneth, but I believe his last name was Spashett and not Drabble. I have a bit more if you think you could be related. Thanks.

Ashley, Do you know if your Sylvia Drabble Spashett's mother was Madeline Jones from London, England? I think Sylvia would have been my mom's first cousin. Thanks.

Hi Graham

Your grand-mother Marie would appear to be my second cousin twice removed. We have her as one of nine children including Clem born at Pilhough. Not sure which of the girls would be nicknamed Polly.
