Drabble family tree from Sheffield
Hi, I have just started to track down my family tree and am investigating all Drabbles from Sheffield in the 1800's, the Drabble from Eyam in the 1600's and from Dronfield in the 1500's. If I come across US links I will let you know.

Re: Drabble family tree from Sheffield
Have connections believed to be through Geraldine Drabble born Sheffield 1864. Lived in Doncaster later . Drabbles SWeets of Conisborough were a strong familt connection as were a group of specialist nurses.Flo Drabble being one. Have relevant letters and facinating postcards, local and long distance.
Any info gratefully recieved. Cheers

Have you ever heard of Singelton or Grace Drabble? They were from Montreal Canada and may have died around 1940-50. Thanks Keith

Well hello long lost Drabbles. Keith Lunt sent a letter to my grandparents home in Montreal (they are long since passed away) and low and behold he found a pile of we Drabbles and Lunts. I am the great grand daughter of Singleton Sinnamon Drabble (Moores NY), grand daughter of his son Herbert L. Drabble (Sandy Hill NY moved to Montreal Canada)and daughter of his daughter Kathleen . Singleton married the daughter (Caroline) of Isaac Rock (Moores NY) and Caroline Lunt (Moores NY) sister of Milton Lunt.
If you have any information you want to share, please get in touch with me.
Thanks for getting the ball rolling Keith!
