My grandmother came from Hoxie Arkansas, and was named Una Irene Downs. Born 1910. She married Paul Stringer, my grandfather.
I was told by my grandfather, that we had Scottish blood. My father always said, Una Irene Downs mother, was Indian, but never what tribe.
