The death occurred on Sunday evening last of Mrs Eliza Dover, relict of the late Mr James Dover, at the advanced age of 84 years.

At 16 years of age she married the late Mr Dover, at Orange, and shortly afterward went to live oil Mr L. N. Smith's Boree property, where her husband was employed. For many years they lived at Boree, and then
moved to the Wellington district, where, some 18 years, o, Mr Dover died. From that time till some two years ago, the old lady has lived with the various Members of her family. Two years ago, in order that she might be near her medical adviser, she moved in to Molong, and took up her residence with Mrs A. Byrne, and it was at her house she breathed her last. Right till the end she retained the use of her faculties, and took a keen and intelligent interest in all that was going on. An observant woman, and possessed of a retentive memory, she could and did relate many interesting incidents of the old days, when there was hardly a fence between Molong and Blayney, and the blacks and bushrangers were troublesome. At the last the old lady passed away peacefully, the immediate cause of death being senile decay.

Rutter (Cundumbul), Mrs J. Manning and Mrs H. Lock (Sydney), Messrs J. Dover (Sydney), Charles (Wellington), Arthur and Ernest (Molong), Frank (Two mile), Harry (Cumnock) and Waller (A.I.F.) She leaves 42 grandchildren, and five great-grand children. She is survived by her only brother, Mr John Dunn, of Orange, who is in his 86th year.
The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon, and despite the inclement weather, was a large and representative one. All the children except Mrs Manning and Walter were present at the graveside. The remains were interred in the R.C. portion of the Molong cemetery, the Rev. Father Lawler reading the burial service. Mrs Kingsland conducted the mortuary arrangements.
