I have traced my great, great grandfather, Dillingham to his father, Frederick, and mother, Margaret. There is another patriarch, Jeptha Dover, who must be related in some way. He is the father of David M., who served in the War Between the States with my great, great grandfather, Dillin. I'm curious if anyone knows if Jeptha and Frederick were brothers, or the father of Frederick, or any information about this family perhaps farther back.
