Hi!

Looking for any information on any of the members of the Douglass family - living in Claiborn County, MS and/or Tensas Parish, LA - around 1800 through 1900.

I know they owned Lake Place Plantation, Buck Ridge Plantation and Shady Grove Plantation ... and I know Stephen Douglass (b. 1804) has a Memorial in Legion Memorial Cemetery ... I know that James Stuart Douglass, Sr. (b. 1796) is buried in Douglass cemetery ... and his wife, Emaline Evans Douglass Bland is also buried there ... but that is about it.

I want to know if Stephen had any children - and what was his wife's name? I also want to know about his siblings? Who were his parents?
