I know William Dougherty m Jane O'Connor in CA. Her dad was James O'Connor and she was born in Quebec Canada. Family were all in Santa Cruz,Santa Clara area by 1860.
William became known as the :"Lumber King" . I think that after Jane died he may have married Anne Fenton.
Janes, mothers name may have been Mary Kell I was told she came from England, while James came from Ireland, married in Quebec at an anlican church, but all the children were baptized there, in Roman Catholic Church.

I would love to find decendents of any of the above, and better yet those that still may be living who can fill me in on family history out in CA, as I'm in MA.
My grandfather was Patrick Bradley dob May 1864. m Mary Ann O'Donnell April 17 1902 in Boston, and had 7 children, 6 that lived.

(Patrick O'Connors first wife was Sarah Doherty of Missouri).
