Unfortunately, although the circumstantial evidence seemed overwhelming, I do not believe that I am descended from Chief Doublehead. I do have, however, several cousins who maintain this belief.

It has been difficult for me to come to terms with the decision. I have been researching the Doublehead line for years and the members of that line have become like old friends to me.

Parting from these friends has been emotional and sad for me!
