Thanks Betty. That's pretty much what I have found so far. I was hoping to find someone that might know the original source of the Ora Delbert Doak info. Orrie Dotson had a son who he named Harry Delbert Dotson, but it's not enough to consider it fact that Ora D. Doak was his father.

I found all of Emily's siblings in 1900 except for Emily and Ruth. George & Susan were still in Doddrige. Several had died before then and the rest were already in Salem, Columbiana, OH. I also found Eli Snyder with his brother in Salem in 1900 listed as single. He and Emily must have married after this probably in Columbiana Co. I can find no record of the marriage either.

Ora Doak had 2 sons: Crandall K. Doak (mother Gertrude Hudson) who was born in 1907 and died 1969; and James Givens Doak (mother Dora Isabelle Givens) born 1917 and died 1992. I'm in the process of looking for obits for these two men in the hope that one might mention Orrie Dotson as a brother or 1/2 brother. I found marriage records for Ora Doak to both women in Doddridge Co., WV.
