I'm looking for a Missouri Doss & don't know if Male or Female, born in WV probably betw 1835 & 1849, parent to Elizabeth "Bettie" Frances Doss, born 2/1864 in Missouri.. Info I was given was that Missouri Doss was the father, but am wondering if it might be mother considering I can find no males w/this name during this timeframe!
