In the Dorsey family book, I have been reading the wills. Some leave, "personality". Example.........to Jacob and Thomas I leave... (and name articles) and to Elizabeth and Sarah I leave......personality.
I see this in various wills, all with a small p, so not a name of a piece of property or such.
Can anyone tell me what this term means?
