I am searching for the family of Annie Margaret Dormer who married Frederick Staines(widower), a policeman, in 1921 in Lambeth, London. She was in her early forties at the time of her marriage. Her father is named on her marriage certificate as James Dormer, a farmer. The only James Dormer, who is listed as a farmer, that I have managed to locate, does not have a daughter named Annie Margaret! There is no birth registration for Annie either. I believe that sometimes the birth of a girl was not registered in those days.
