Yesterday I discovered Charles Donkin in the 1880 census and thought that he might be her grandfather due to the correct age and occupation (carpenter). Today I found your e-mail confirming my guess. According to My grandfather's WW1 draft registration info he was born on June 17,1888 in Malden Ma. He died in November, 1931 in Longmont, CO.
