I don't know if anyone is still watching this feed or not but my mother was a Donham and there are several Donhams buried in Covington Cemetery in Covington, Texas.
If you go to findagrave.com and type in Covington Cemetary, and then Donham in the name search it will list all of the Donhams' buried there and when you click on a name you will see detailed info about spouses, children, parents & siblings.

When doing my genealogy, I found my beginning information in Thomas J. Donham's book. I also found information in Family Tree Maker. Other information came from family members, old documents and tombstones. My grandmother was Myrtle Anne Childress Fite, daughter of Rufus Henry Childress and Dorcus Elizabeth 'Betty' Donham, daughter of Henry Donham and Martha Gardner, son of John Donham and Elizabeth Odam, son of Johnathan Donham and Milbra Philips, son of Donham from Ireland and his wife of Scottish Descent. Looking for documented paternal line descendents of Jonathan Donham alias Singletary of Woodbridge, NJ, USA (b. 1640; d. bef. 1724). Trying to identify Y-DNA marker mutations for descendents of his sons Jonathan, David, Nathaniel, and Benjamin. Marker mutations help define the branches of the family tree.

Some folks know with Y-DNA evidence that they come from the Donham alias Singletary line. But exactly which line of descent? It takes samples from many paternal lines of descent to define the branches of a family tree.

That's my family too. My mom, who is 84, says that Robert (Nathaniel's son) was her father's great grandfather. My mom's father was Paul Singleton Donham (1898-1973).

Hi,
I am helping a friend get into DAR on Nathaniel Donham/Dunham. The only piece missing is connecting Lewis son of Nathaniel to his son John (b.1806.) Do you of any proof of Lewis being the father of John?

Fred Donham, of this Donham line had a son named Jim "Bud" Donham, he lived in York, PA and married Evelyn Donham, they later moved to Osprey, Florida where he passed away.

I deleted my last post as I didn't read your correctly. My father is Paul Douglas Donham b. 1941, Bakersfield, CA. F Harry Glen Donham, M Fllorene Stratton Donham. My GF had a brother, Fred Donham, who had a son James "Bud" Donham. The families are mostly is Oklahoma, Washington, & VA at this ti. Fred & Harry "Glen" has several siblings, one of which has Polio. I believe they lived in Oklahoma and their father was a Farmer. If you have any information, please let me know!!

Right? Abel's brother Robert is the Father of John S.
I'm of their line. John S had a son named George Jackson
Donham who had a son John Singleton Donham who had a DAUGHTER named Mae Rebecca Donham who married Lloyd Beecher Lawson who had four sons, the youngest being my father Donald Dean Lawson born 1922 still living.
Could you send me your info? I'm using what our cousin in Sedgwick, KS compiled in 1981. There was a Lewis who was Abel's half brother. So you're from the Crossley/ Donham
like me. Nathaniel and first wife Mary Sutton Donham had four children. I have 1760, but that can't be right unless that's the year they were married, because David was born before John and he was born in 1767 in NJ. Do you have any of this?

I have visited the Cemetery Where Ira & Cytha Donham are burried, also some of there offspring his son Geroge, daughters America, and Susan and her newborn son (she must have died giving birth to her son in 1874) who are burried together

My great great grandfather was also Ira Donham. I really
have not much information. I do have pictures and some
papers you may be interested in. You have, I can tell, done
a lot of work. I have just put together family albums for my
sons. My great grandmother was Cinderella A. Donham
daughter of Ira and sister to America Susanna Donham.

Several of us(Rich Crowley, Lenny Vaccarella, Bob McEwen and Jackie Dougherty) have searched and believe we have located the site of Jonathan's grist mill. However, as usual there are others, who feel this is not the site.

In the near future an archeaologist will check site for authenticity. Would like to have others who are interested and living in the Woodbridge NJ area come, join and take a look at the site. You may even have more information to share. Would like to do in groups of 10 or 15 people.

William Donham 1784

I am looking for info on William Donham who was a son of Nathaniel Donham 1733 & Keziah Crosley...
I know he was born in Pen. and moved to Ohio with his father when young... and After the death of his mother and Father around 1820, moved to the Riley & Cory Indiana towns in Vigo and Clay counties..
research shows her died in Vigo County in 1849...
The Vigo County Vital records only go back to 1850 (go figure)..

I am trying to find where he is burried.. His Son Ira was living in Fountain County in the 1860-70 Census, Where they raised 10 or so kids.... one of them Abel also goes by Able/Abraham and Dunham , who is my Great Great Grandfather also I cannot find his cemetery...
I found Ira and Cinthia in northern Knox county cemetery records... I know where Nathaniel Donham 1733, Ira Donham 1817, and Mack 1880 are burried (Abel's son), William and Abel are mising.... William is either burried in Greene, Knox, Vigo or most likely Clay... I looked though most the Cemetery records... can't find him... I searched to the high heaven for Abel in Greene (where his funeral was) co, Vigo and knox... Abel passed around 1916-17

There is a Donham Cemetery in the most Southern, Easter Vigo county... the Library lists many names, but no Donhams... but there are several unmarked graves no one knows about -could William be here? I visited this Cemetery, it's on private land, but the owners are pretty nice.. I looked though it, sadly alot of the stones are in bad shape, some just a Stone marker, no name...
in the center of tDonham Cemetery there is a pile of maybe 8-9 headstones that no one knows where they go.. Sad...

I have not found William in any Indiana Census...
I am wandering where his kids lived in 1949-50..
I am stuck...

hello cousins, I too am an ancestor of Nathaniel as I found out from info our cousin Micki Crozier gathered back in 1981 -82. I am the Great Granddaughter of John Singleton Donham born in 1856. My Grandma was Mae Donham ,born 1887 who married Lloyd Beecher Lawson and their youngest son Donald Lawson is my Dad. He's 83 years old and the only living of the four boys. Would love to meet you all. I see where some live in N.C. and I'm living in S.C. Long ways from OK and KS. but I get back there once a year. I used to hear from Micki,but haven't in a while. I have lewis Singleton Donham whom is the son of Abel Donham. Whom married Sarah Fagin. They had for children according to the census in 1840. But in 1850 i am unable to find him nor his wife. all children names are unknown.

Actually, Dennis Dunham, Jr. was married to Dollie Hudspeth.

Dennis Dunham over 21 and Dolly Hudspeth, she was the ward of Michael Holland who
gave his consent, married by Edmond Lanier Feb.6, 1815.
Dunham, Dennis married Hudspeth, Dolly on 06 Feb 1815 in Warren County, Kentucky

I'm also a descendant of Denness Dunham and Dollie Phillips, through their son Jonathan Donham and Millie Phillips and John Donham and Eliza Odom. Have you found any information on the ancestors of Denness Dunham? A few years ago, DNA test were done with our family line and the descendants of Samuel Dunham's family---we were a perfect match for that family line.

Abel Donham was my g-g-g-g-grandfather so I would be glad to share with you if I find any thing and I hope you will also be willing to share. Abel's daughter, Evaline married Robert Chapman. and they moved from Clermont County Ohio in the late 1840's to Spencer County, Indiana, where a good portion of us still reside, or in the vicinity.
