My Gandfather was Lewis Donham born 9/19/1888in Bonham, Texas. His father was John L. Donham married to Mary (?) Wright Donham. John's father was Abel Marion Donham. My grandfather and his father moved to Oklahom where my grandfather married Lillie Myrtle Turpin of Turpin, Oklahoma.
I am trying to figure out the Donham-Singletary (?) connection.
Also, I have gotten the tree back to the Dunham's from Devonshire England. I cannot find when or why the name changed from Dunham to Donham I know that it happened with either Johan Dunham (deacon)coming from Holland to Plymouth in about 1630 or with his son Nathaniel (b) 1677 in Woodbridge, New Jersey.

Any help any of you can give me on either question would be greatly appreciated.
