I recently found out that I am descended from the Doney family through Elizabeth Doney who married William Thompson, Lennox Addington Ont. Their daughter Elizabeth married Joel Meeks. I had earlier been led to believe that Elizabeth Thomspon Meeks had been the daughter of William Thompson UE and Magdelana Keller, also from Lennox Addington during the same time period. I would be interested in any Doney information.
