Looking for info on family of Richard Donegan b 1813 Ireland m Caroline Merriott b 1827 Oxfordshire m 1843 Stepney

John and Catherine emigrated in 1882, had John (1875) and Caroline (1878) with them. Had Mary in NY 1882 then had the following in Belleville, NJ:

Ellen 1888
Gertrude 1893

James is my gg grandfather and I would be interested in any info on the other members of the family and anything I can learn about Richard. It appears from the England censuses that Richard and Caroline separated sometime between 1851 and 1861. I can't find any record of him after 1851. However, Caroline had children through 1866 and was never listed as a widow so either they were visiting or some of the children weren't Richard's. I did find an immigration record for a Richard Donegan about the right age in 1868 but not enough info to say that it was him for certain.
