Lost Donegans in New Jersey

Looking for info on Donegans who emigrated to New Jersey ca 1880. Lived in Bergen county (where my grandfather, James, was born in 1886) then moved to Passaic before 1900. James (1827) and Margaret (1831) came over, probably a couple of years after their son, Jeremiah (1859). Not sure if Jeremiah was married before or after emigrating but his wife was Ellen (1860). Her last name MAY have been either Sullivan or Connolly. According to the 1900 census, Margaret had 11 children and 7 were still living. Margaret and Hannah were born in the 1870's and were living with them. That leaves 8 more children that I don't know. Can anyone help with the other children or with info about them in Ireland? Who were the other children? Did any others emigrate and, if so, where did they live? Who were James', Margaret's and Ellen's ancestors? I've hit a BIG BRICK WALL and haven't been able to get through it for at least 3 years

Would appreciate any help.

Mary
