Just getting back into genealogy after a hiatus, and now starting on my paternal line. I hope you're both still able to get these threads. Patrick
DONEGAN was my gg-grandfather, I am descended from his son Edward Michael
DONEGAN (b. 26 APR1888, m. Rosalia Hyacinth BURNELL/BERNELL 17NOV~1910, d. 25NOV1960). The info I have so far is no more than what you both have, mostly gleaned from census reports, even the same discrepancies (from Co. Clare or
Cork? Born 1851 or 1853?) I have ordered Patrick's death certificate, as well as his wife Ellen's, still waiting for both to arrive. My grandfather's name was Edward Maurice, and Patrick's eldest son was named Morris Edward, so perhaps the name Morris does indeed come from Patrick's father. I'm happy to share whatever info I come up with.
