Hi, Shelby -
I did receive the documents, but they weren't very helpful - didn't give much more info than what I already had. I think my next step will be to look at parish records. I have perused the newspaper articles available on Ancestry.com. Trouble is, it seems every branch of the Donegan tree had a Morris, a Nicholas, an Edward - so it's hard to figure out which Morris Donegan the article is talking about . Also, my visit to Syracuse at Christmas was shorter than expected, so I didn't get a chance to go over the photos with my aunts. Anyway, I'm anxious to get back into it, but we're moving on Thursday and everything is packed up. Once we get settled and I have time to pursue the next step, I hope to have more to report.
