I have been researching Richard Dolben who was born in York England and emigrated to America in late 1840's. I found several reference to him by using Google Book search. I knew that he and his second wife were in Boston-Cambridge area and this is now document in archives of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow House site. Richard Dolben designed a garden of the family and it is refered in the Wikipedia article on the House. He present a design for Central Park and there is a reference to this design in book in Google site. I also found letter from Richard Dolben which was printed in 1834 The Familiar Astrologer. He has been one of my more interesting ancestor and never fails to amaze me
