Here is a later 1861 Census site showing the later Mohegan generations still living in the area. Dolbeare graves are still visable on the Fort Shantoc site.
There seems to be a connection from Mortonhampsted with Dolbear and Atwell families from the same locality. My own branch of the Atwell family (Not all Atwells) are Mohegan/English and we hid this aspect. However dateing back to England in Devon we are intermarried with the Stuckley and Arnold families that were Gaurdians of the son of Poccahantis named ROLFE.
