i can't remember if i emailed you about this or not. but either way i would like some scans of the pictures in aunt alice's photo album. also, severin joseph doebele, my grandfather passed away and i now have in my possesion what we think is a work permit book from the original severin doebele in germany.
most of it has been translated. i also have some various birth certificate requests and marriage lisences from new orleans. i was in new orleans prior to hurricane rita coming ashore. i was able to skirt the police and get into the cemetary to check on the tomb. everything seemed intacked.
