I would love to be able to tie my Doebele ancestors to other Doebeles of New Orleans. My GGgrandfather came over from Aargau Canton Switzerland in 1842. We donot know his parents names. He probably was a teenager but later married and lst son was born in Louisiana in 1849 also named Jacob. Would welcome any information.
