Hi Sylvia
Nice family tree you have made up. Zygmund has enough decendants to start an army.
My grandfather's uncle was Zygmond Dlugokecki. He was born in Rypin Poland on Feb 6-18 1874 (I don't know why the date is written like that in the bible maybe a guess)
He was the son of Ignacy and Eva Dlugokecki. The family were members of the Sacred Spirit Roman Catholic Church in Rypin. I think Zigmond went to Germany and then immigrated to New York City in March of 1891. Sylvia, let me know if this fits in with your ancestral backround.

Thanks. Sounds like the dates kind of match up. That's as much as I know. Interesting, that's the first time I've seen it spelled that way though. I'm going to try and contact jthill. I fell behind and never got around to it. He's also posted on this message board. He's the one basically responsible for the ancestor information. I just have the website up with added information from more immediate family members and to see if it would provoke interest out there to other family members.

If you're out there and can read this Mr. Hill, my apologies for not getting back to you sooner and I will be snail-mailing you shortly.

I believe we do have a positive connection! Zygmond's birthday is listed as two days on his baptismal certificate... on the 6th and the 18th. One day follows the Julian calendar, while the other follows the Gregorian calendar. (we follow the gregorian calendar) Take a peek..
