<<Hi. My grandfather, Jacob Stanley Dlugokenski, came over from Poland with his uncle, Zigmund Dlugokenski, in 1902, according to the family lore. Jacob was 14 at the time (born in 1888). Not sure if we're talking about the same Zigmund or not! We don't have a lot of information other than that--Jacob eventually changed his name to Jacob Stanley (in 1916). He settled in New Jersey, where we were all raised.>>

I think it's 2 different Zigmund's (I've come across a few). Our's emigrated in 1891 at the age of 17, married soon after and already had 2 kids and 1 on the way by 1902. I haven't come across any info that he ever went back to Poland once coming here but I'll ask around.
