Not sure if we're talking about the same Zigmund or not! We don't have a lot of information other than that--Jacob eventually changed his name to Jacob Stanley (in 1916). I think it's 2 different Zigmund's (I've come across a few). Our's emigrated in 1891 at the age of 17, married soon after and already had 2 kids and 1 on the way by 1902. I haven't come across any info that he ever went back to Poland once coming here but I'll ask around.
