I think Edward DiNunzio lives in Wading River NY. I believe Patty lives in Pelham. Don't know her married name. I keep in touch with my uncle Ed via mail. He's about 90.
I used to remember going to their cute house in a new sub-division in Valhalla, NY back in the mid 50's(?).
I remember the general area of where it was but I can't find it doing a Google search. I remember Addie as being a sweet pretty lady. I believe she died suddenly when I was young. I've lost track of Patty, Ellen and Joanie over the years.

Hello Rick,
sent you a message as well It great to find relatives on ancestry. My Maiden name is Dinunzi, my tree is public but my family goes me- Bruce my father- frank Dinunzi- frank Sr.- Guiseppe(jos) Dinunzi- who all ended up in Raritan, NJ. My grandfather explained to me that his family was from Naples, Italy and most of his family was from northern Italy. That is all I have along with census records. IF you know more about the Dinunzi line further up than that it would be a great help

Hi Frank,

My Grandfather Saverio "Sam" Denunzio came to the Amherstburg/Windsor area (Southern Ontario) when he was young with his father Donato DiNunzio/DeNunzio. There's always been a bit of confusion around the name's proper spelling, as the E in DeNunzio was said to have been transposed from an i (DiNunzio)when they came to Canada. Any information about Donato and family origins would be great as I want to start a history of the family.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
Stacy

Hello Rick and all...my parents are from Roccamorice, Abruzzo, Italy...where many DiNunzio ''s'' are from. Chances are high that the Abruzzesi and Molisani DiNunzio are related...since both Abruzzo and Molise were originally one region. Anyone requiring more info on the DiNunzio families from Roccamorice, feel free to ask me any questions...my father is pretty informed and his mom, my nonna, who is 103 is still sharp. I know most DiNunzio ''s'' from Roccamorice emigrated to Southern Ontario in Canada, many to New England in the U.S. and some to Belgium, England and Germany in Europe and a few to Brazil also. Vous pouvez aussi m'écrire en français. Può anche scrivermi in italiano.

Some info may not be correct. He may have had a sister named Ann. If anyone knows anything please let me know. My father was born in Philadelphia in 1937, so William was probably born in the teens and I am told he died in a car accident.

Thanks,
Stacy

DiNunzio family tree

When you just start out with your family
research, you must start with yourself first.
On your birth certificate it should name your
parents, their age, and place of birth.
Then go after your parents birth certificates
and even baptismal certificates are helpful.
Then start on funeral records, obituaries.
A funeral record is just as good as a death
certificate, but the funeral record is free.
Check out a family history library, if you
have one in your home town. Or if you have
to travel 100 miles, make a day of it at a
family history library. You'll be happy you
did. Their is always someone their to help
you. You can even get birth, death, and
marriage records from Italy at the family
history library, just like I did.

Well, I hope this may have helped. I will
be here for you if you need anymore
information. You never know, we might be
distant cousins, and I'd like to know what
you find on the DiNunzio's from Campobasso.

Have a great day, Rick

I am Cristina Coria's brother and I am very interested in finding out the truth about our family from our mom's side as well. We met a Rose who is suppose to be my mom's half sister but I do not remember her last name. She lived in Oklahoma when we met her. The part of New Jersey that my mom lived in was Camden. Is that where Luigi and Belinda lived? If you can help us with any information we (my sister and I) would appreciate it very much. Thank you.
