Silver Wedding

Rev. A. Dinsmore and wife of Alhambra were surprised last evening by the visit of about 200 friends to their residence, who speedily made it known that they came to help commemorate the 25th anniversary of their hosts' marriage. Not only Presbyterians, but Baptists and Methodist divines were present and made the evening a merry one. Rev. A. M. Merwin, who was present with his family, declared Mr. and Mrs. Dinsmore man and wife once more.

A large number of gifts were bestowed upon the couple including $70 in cash and various articles of silver ware. The whole affair was a complete surprise to them.
