Someone requested information on a Dinsmre book, and I replied by saying I have a copy of "Historical""The earliest History and Genealogy - covering nearly 300 years from 1600 to 1801,of the DINSMOOR-DINSMORE FAMILY, of Scotland, Ireland and America", dated 1891 sentto me in South Africa from America.

Is this the book that was mentioned or is there another on the family.

Does any one have information on the UK branch?

Have a good day
Peter

Is the book you have a recounting of the
Laird Dinsmore saga - whose family
know lived first in In southern Scotland near Peebles, then Antrim Northern
Ireland and emigrated to USA to Windham NH?

Hi Peter, I am researching the descendants of
John Dunsmoor -William 1699-1782 and his brothers John, Oliver and Thomas who settled
in the Lancaster area of Massachusetts. The name changed to Densmore and finally Dinsmore by 1875. William is my direct descendent. They all arrived about 1728
from Kilrea Northern Ireland.
