I am the Grand son of Edgar O. Dingler's brother Ewald (who we believe to be twins)

Their mother was Elise Meerfield. There appears to be a picture of her at Ancetry.com

John's Parents were Daniel Dingler (a nice picture of him can be at Findagrave.com) and Katherine Koch.

We think Edgar was a Barber in Mankato, MN

Katherine Koch is presently the mystery woman, over several years of search for information on her. I haven't found much. We do know she was born in Wadeburg, Kingdom of Bavaria.

Daniel was born in Hesse-Kassel, immigrated to the US in about 1838. He was 16 at the time. He was one of the 5 founders of the town of New Ulm. Both are buried in New Ulm. They appear to have had 9 kids.
